The Indian captain Virat Kohli praised the skills of the wicket-keeping batsman KL Rahul. On the count of his recent form, Virat has indicated that KL Rahul will continue to keep wickets during the 5-match T20I series between New Zealand and India.
Recently, Rahul has been prolific for India at the top-order and in the absence of Rishabh Pant in the 2nd and 3rd ODI against Australia, Rahul kept wickets for India. Talking about his skills, Virat said that Rahul has done a great job with the gloves. Moreover, his presence gives India more balance with his exceptional batting skills.
Calling him “team man”, Virat said that Rahul always looks for opportunities coming his way and capitalizes them. The Karnataka batsman scored 47, 80, and 19 in 3 ODI against Australia at home and his work behind the stumps was commendable.
