In a short period of time, Pakistani pace sensation Haris Rauf has managed to garner massive admiration. Be it the Abu Dhabi T20 tournament, Pakistan Super League (PSL) or the Big Bash League (BBL), the fierce quick has done enough to make everyone fall in love with his prowess. However, the turning point proved to be his sensational shows in the BBL where he claimed 16 wickets in 7 games to aid Melbourne get installed in the final of the tournament.
All this helped him to move former Australian cricketer David Hussey to share complimentary words for him. Not only that, Hussey went on to say that he wants to see Haris playing 100 Tests, 150 ODIs and 400 T20Is for Pakistan. The head coach of Melbourne Stars added that Haris brought a plethora of energy and different dynamics to his unit and hence fitted perfectly.
Moreover, the 42-year old thinks that Haris’ ability to give 100% effort whenever he plays makes him an ideal candidate to succeed. David is also looking forward to have him back for the BBL finals as the conclusion of T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh have freed Haris Rauf of national duty.
