Sarfaraz Khan is in the midst of a splendid run with the bat as he racked up another double ton in the ongoing Ranji Trophy clash between Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh. Fresh from a triple century in his previous outing, the 22-year-old slammed an unbeaten 226 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
Mumbai were reeling at one stage at a perilous 16/3 before Sarfaraz set up a batting masterclass to rescue his team from plunging into further disarray. He kept scoring at a brisk rate despite the loss of wickets on the other hand and struck 32 boundaries and four sixes during his undefeated 213-ball stay at the crease.
The Mumbai-born batsman reached the double ton mark in just 199 balls as he launched into a passionate celebration soon after. He had earlier become just the seventh batsman from Mumbai to hit a triple century in the Ranji Trophy.
