The right-handed batsman Sarfaraz Khan is currently making headlines with his inexplicable form during the ongoing Ranji Trophy. The pocket-size dynamite smashed yet another double-century against Himachal and backed up remarkable triple century against Uttar Pardesh.
The 22-year old revealed that he was quite hurt when the IPL based franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore released him. The right-handed batsman said that it was Virat Kohli who acknowledged him about his fitness drawbacks.
He said, “I was dropped at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2016 because of my fitness. Virat Kohli told me straightaway while there were no doubts over my skills, my fitness was not letting me get to the next level. He was very honest with me about where I was.”
The Mumbai-born disclosed that he is working hard on his fitness and is vigilant about his diet which has improved his on-field performances. Sarfaraz his hoping to make a comeback in the Indian premier league and is also targeting the selection in the National side.
