The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) have announced a strong squad for the upcoming tour of Pakistan where they will participate in three T20 matches and one 50-over fixture. The squad will be led by former Sri Lankan skipper and current MCC president Kumar Sangakkara while several other stars will be a part of the touring party.
Veteran England all-rounder Ravi Bopara is part of the MCC team with senior Netherlands player Roelof van der Merwe adding depth to the batting and bowling lineup. Scotland duo Michael Leask and Safyaan Sharif will also be accompanying the squad. Meanwhile, MCC will be bolstered by the trio of Phil Salt, Liam Dawson and Samit Patel, all of whom will play one match for the club before linking up with their Pakistan Super League franchises.
