Former skipper Younis Khan, despite being one of the most iconic cricketers produced by Pakistan, had often landed himself in controversies. Time and again, the veteran of 118 Tests, 265 ODIs and 25 T20Is has been found in tussle with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the recent episode isn’t any different.
The cricketer turned coach recently revealed that the governing body of Pakistan cricket owes him Rs 4 to 6 crore. However, he added that the money doesn’t bother him and that is why he never moved to demand the amount. Nevertheless, he advised PCB to invest on cricketing talent and infrastructure to maintain a sustained supply of talented cricketers.
Moreover, Younis Khan shared his views on the coaching of his former teammate Misbah-ul-Haq by saying that fans should be a bit patient as he is new. He also said that the age doesn’t matter for any cricketer who has the needed fitness and performance to survive.
