Pakistan’s top-flight cricketers are currently engaged in a three-day practice match ahead of the first Test against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi. The Test probable’s are competing against one another in teams of two to get in the groove ahead of the five-day contest starting February 7.
Continuing their good form from the home series against Sri Lanka, Shan Masood and Babar Azam starred in the practice match with centuries. The two technically sound batters scored tons to stamp their authority on the proceedings as they punished Pakistan’s first-choice pacers.
Babar and Shan were at the helm of Pakistan’s dominance in their win at National Stadium, Karachi against Sri Lanka. In that match, both Shan and Babar reached the three-figure mark in addition to Azhar Ali and Abid Ali.
