For the upcoming edition of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced the consortium of Tower Sports and SportzWorkz as their broadcast and production partner. This appointment came after the consortium submitted the lowest bid in an open and transparent tender process.
It is important to note that Tower Sports is registered as Pakistani company while SportzWorkz belongs to Singapore. These companies, by joining hands, aim to produce a sensational event for the fans by utilizing their wealth of experience and capable crew members.
Project Executive of Pakistan’s darling T20 competition Shoaib Naveed shared jubilation on the appointment as he expects the consortium to deliver strong results. He added that the authorities have never compromised on the production quality of the 20-over competition and would continue to do so for all the editions to come. The world-class league, scheduled to be played in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan, will hit Pakistan from February 20 with a game between defending champions Quetta and Islamabad.
