Sohail Tanvir eyes return for T20 World Cup

Sohail Tanvir, the bowling all-rounder of Pakistan, has been one of the finest white-ball bowling talents produced by the country. Remaining an integral part of the national team few years ago, he went on to aid Pakistan win many games. However, a dip in form combined with emergence of new pacers pushed him out of the national reckoning.

Nevertheless, Tanvir is yearning to get back to donning the national colors using the forthcoming edition of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 35-year old believes that he still has some cricket left in him and he wants it to use to aid the boys in green win the upcoming T20 World Cup which is scheduled in Australia.

Sharing his views on the hopes of getting back in the Pakistani team, the veteran of 2 Tests, 62 ODIs and 57 T20Is said that the return of all-rounders Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez to the national team has brightened his hopes. Therefore, he would look to give his all for Multan Sultans in PSL 2020 to grab the attention of the selection committee.
