England’s all-rounder Moeen Ali has expressed his willingness to play the Test cricket for England. The 32-year revealed that he is not reluctant to represent England in the longest format of the game. The left-handed batsman was dropped from England’s Test side after the conclusion of the 1st Ashes Test.
Since then, Ali has not been seen in the English colors. Moeen Ali represented England in the practice game against South Africa and he will be available for the limited-over series as well. "I don't want anyone to think I don't love playing for England because playing for your country is the greatest thing a cricketer can do"- Moeen said.
He revealed that he is in talks with Chris Silverwood and Joe Root for accommodating him in the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka. Previously, Moeen also disclosed that he took a break from cricket because he thought he was not valued much. But after his perceptions turned wrong, the all-rounder showed complete willingness to represent the World Champions in the Test format.
