The tickets for the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium go sale today. The Test marks Pakistan’s third assignment under the World Test Championship while it is also the third Test on Pakistan soil since the 2009 terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus.
Expected to be purchased in large numbers, the tickets will be sold via TCS Express Centres across Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The tickets will be available at the Pothohar Road branch in Islamabad on February 5th.
In a bid to bring similar turnover as what was witnessed during the Sri Lanka Test in December, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has retained the prices of tickets for Meeran Buksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir and Yasir Arafat enclosures at PKR50.
Meanwhile, tickets for Azhar Mahmood, Imran Khan, Javed Akhtar and Javed Miandad enclosures have been fixed at PKR100.
