South African cricket is looking to move into a new era as they recently installed the wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock as the skipper of the side, replacing the experienced cricketer Faf du Plessis. The appointment saw many cricketers sharing their views and the hard-hitting batsman David Miller didn’t stay behind.
The veteran of 126 ODIs and 72 T20Is came forward to endorse the decision as he feels that de Kock contains the ability, maturity and stability to lead the rainbow nation. He also added that the 27-year old is a top performer who knows the art of leading from the front by highlighting his numbers.
Opening up on his relation with de Kock, Miller revealed that he never met de Kock before playing for South Africa, but the journey helped them to share a strong bond of friendship. Moreover, he wants his unit to come back strongly from the Test series defeat and win the ongoing five-match ODI series against the world champions England.
