The fifth season of the electrified Pakistan Super League (PSL) is only weeks away as teams are gearing up for another roller coaster ride and all the six squads are carrying weight in the form of some specialists of the game.
Lahore will be heavily relying on the prowess of the left-handed paceman Usman Shinwari who has previously done well for Karachi. The skillful bowler is considered a strong T20 product as he gave a good account of his skills in the last edition of the tournament.
Averaging just under 21, Shinwari has 91 wickets in 72 T20 games at an economy of 7.6. Recently, he was found reflecting on the forthcoming edition of the 20-over competition as he vowed to turn the fortune of Lahore Qalandars by recording strong bowling outings. Shinwari will join hands with Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf to form a sturdy pace department for Lahore.
Qalandars are hoping to see their diamond pick going big in the forthcoming edition of the PSL. Lahore will be seen in action on February 21 in their opening game against Multan Sultans at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.
