Pakistani paceman Haris Rauf seems unstoppable these days as he is regularly recording elite bowling outings. After serving the national team against Bangladesh, he returned to Australia to participate in the play-offs of the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) for Melbourne Stars.
Wasting no time at all, the 26-year old cricketer made an impact for his franchise. After a decent outing against Sydney Sixers, he produced another sensational bowling performance to deposit his team into the final of Australia’s prestigious T20 tournament. Claiming 3 wickets whilst conceding only 17 runs in his 4 overs, Haris made his prowess known to all.
Earlier Melbourne won the toss and the heroic batting efforts of Marcus Stoinis and Nick Larkin helped them reach a sturdy total of 194 runs. In response, Sydney ran out of gas at the score of 166 to get crashed out of the tournament. Apart from Haris, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Adam Zampa also bowled well to put their team back to winning track.
