Sachin Tendulkar in awe of Marnus Labuschagne’s prowess

It is hard to ignore the prowess and quality of the Australian top-order batsman Marnus Labuschagne who is making the whole cricketing community fall in love with him. Breaking into the team as a concussion replacement of the batting icon Steve Smith during the last Ashes series, the budding cricketer has refused to look back.

Labuschagne made the most of his chance and kept piling runs to cement his place in the national team. It even pushed the Kangaroos to give him a constant chance at 3. Be it the series against England, Pakistan or New Zealand, the 25-year old continued to record a stunning rise. With all this, he became the highest run-getter of the year 2019 in Test cricket.

Recently, the batting sensation was found fetching admiration from the iconic Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The 46-year old said that Labuschagne has incredible footwork and a positive body language. Highlighting the incident of Labuschagne getting hit on the head by Jofra Archer, Tendulkar added that the way he played after that clearly suggested that he has a strong head between his shoulders and he is here to say. He also wished luck to the 25-year old for his future endeavors.
