Pakistani top-order batsman Ahmed Shehzad failed to blossom in International cricket. However, same cannot be said about his domestic cricket as Ahmed comes as a giant of the domestic circuit. Particularly in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the skillful batsman is a top performer who scored 1016 runs at a healthy average of 29.88.
In the last edition of Pakistan’s darling T20 tournament, Ahmed failed to acquire his batting mojo in earlier games, but then made a grand comeback by mustering over 300 runs, averaging in excess of 50. Recently, he was found opening up on PSL 2020 as he expressed his wish to see Quetta winning the 20-over competition.
The 28-year old cricketer revealed that they got immense love from Quetta after winning the last edition and he wants to feel that again. Therefore, he promised to give his best in the forthcoming 6-team event and aid Quetta record a strong show. Ahmed will be joining hands with Shane Watson, Jason Roy, Ben Cutting, Umar Akmal and Sarfaraz Ahmed to form a sturdy batting department for Gladiators.
