Pakistan have continued to shine in Test cricket as they defeated Bangladesh in the first game of the two-match Test series. After restricting the visitors to a paltry total of 233 runs and gaining a first innings lead of 212 runs, the men in green registered a sturdy bowling outing in the second innings to win the contest by an innings and 44 runs.
Skipper of the side Azhar Ali shared that he was delighted to see the way his team responded after deciding to bowl first. He also landed accolades on Babar Azam and Shan Masood for producing spectacular batting performances to help the side go 1-0 win in the two-match series. The 34-year old further said that he would like to keep the intensity going as every single match of the Test championship is really important.
It was a great sight for the management to see the boys in green returning to the winning track after getting smashed in Australia. With this victory, Pakistan has now got 140 points in their bag on the points table of the ICC Test Championship, sitting only 6 points away from England who is on the third position.
