Teenage pace sensation Naseem Shah could not bowl a single over on the fourth morning of the first Test against Bangladesh as Pakistan completed a comprehensive win over the lackluster visitors. Naseem had earlier registered a historic hat-trick on the third day, storming into the record books as the youngest ever bowler to get this achievement.
The 16-year-old had complained of pain around his left rib cage, which resulted in his withdrawal from the field. He later underwent an MRI scan, which cleared him of any serious injury. He will thus be available for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he is expected to don the Quetta Gladiators jersey.
"This is nothing serious. It's only a strain in muscles and as a precaution, I didn't bowl today. I will take two days to start again”- Naseem had stated during the post-match interaction with the media.
