The crowd at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium fully relished the Test cricket homecoming while dancing in the aisles during the 1st Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan. During the working days, people turned out in huge numbers just to support their team.
Pakistani players did not disappoint the fans as they toppled over Bangladesh by an innings and 44 runs. The fans were lucky enough to see their stars performing well including a century from Babar Azam, Shan Masood and a hat-trick from Naseem Shah. The crowd came up with some unique ways of celebrating the occasion and devised some exciting slogans for their stars. Here are the few slogans:
“Halki phulki bhook halka phulka tuc, Imam-ul-Haq, Imam-ul-Haq".
“Thori roti, bota salan, Fawad Alam, Fawad Alam”.
“Panja di kulfi, dasan de chaa, Yasir Shah, Yasir Shah”
Pakistan spent years playing their cricket in U.A.E where the crowd turnover was negligible. Players anxiously waited for the people to show up in the arid stands of Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. But now with cricket coming home, Pakistani players have ample chance to rejoice their cricket in front of passionate crowd.
