Delhi Capitals co-owner furious over India’s selection policies

Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal is furious over team India’s selection policies and injustice towards the wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant and off-spinner Ravi Ashwin.

In his Tweets, Parth questioned why Pant is warming the bench while he provides the X-Factor to the team. Remember, Pant faced concussion during the 1st ODI against Australia in Mumbai, since then, he has been sitting out making a way for the in-form batsman KL Rahul.

On the other hand, Jindal also took a jibe at the Indian selectors for turning their back at Ravi Ashwin. He feels that Ashwin is a wicket-taking bowler Ashwin’s last limited-overs game was against the West Indies back in 2017.

These remarks from Parth are uncommon as the owners of IPL franchises do not take much involvement in matters of the Indian team. However, the coaches sometimes have their say in the selection matters. Last year, Delhi Capitals’ coach Ricky Ponting also raised questions over Pant’s exclusion from India’s limited-overs side.
