With the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) not being far away, teams are rolling into action for the 20-over event. For this reason, West Indian all-rounder Darren Sammy has already reached Pakistan where he will once again represent Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2020.
On his arrival, the 36-year old looked in great spirit as the idea of having the complete tournament in Pakistan excited him to the core. Detecting strength among Peshawar’s ranks, he is confident to see the yellow team doing well in the coveted T20 competition. Sammy, these days, participates in limited cricket action. However, he still remains to be one of the most sought after players in franchise-based T20 leagues.
Without a shadow of doubt, the 6-team event is one of those tournaments Sammy always enjoyed and he expects to do the same in PSL 2020. Moreover, Peshawar’s tweet confirmed that Sammy will continue to lead their side. Peshawar will get back into action in PSL on February 21 against Karachi Kings.
