The Hundred format is receiving immense welcoming response from the English fans as over 100,000 tickets have been sold within the first 48 hours of public availability. The initial allocation for the semi-finals and final have been sold out, however; an unspecified number of tickets will be available in April for the knock-out stages.
The tickets went on sale on Wednesday where the fans signed up on the Hundred website and booked their tickets. The managing director of the Hundred Sanjay Patel was absolutely excited to watch the response from the crowd.
ECB is planning on breaking the record of 950,000 attendees which turned up during the last Vitality T20 Blast tournament. The newly launched tournament is expected to break all previous records as it will offer something new for the fans.
