Samit Patel shares yearning for PSL 5

After spreading magic in the previous four editions of the tournament, Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to swell its charm with another enthralling season. Like all the fans, it has managed to grab attention of the cricketers who cannot wait to be the part of this quality T20 competition.

Recently, English all-rounder Samit Patel shared his excitement for the commencement of PSL 2020. The 35-year old previously featured in this tournament for two-time champions Islamabad United. However, he would be donning the green jersey of Lahore now as he vowed to deliver a strong show to help Lahore impress their fans. Samit also feels that the tournament getting played in Pakistan is fantastic for the country.

Having an experience of 266 T20 matches, Samit has scored over 4700 runs at 25.70. Not only that, he claimed 215 wickets at 27.42, proving his utility with the ball. He will be joined by the likes of Seekkuge Prasanna, Mohammad Hafeez, Farzan Raja and Maaz Khan to form the spin department of Lahore. The Qalandars will be up against Multan Sultans in their opening game of PSL 2020 on February 21.
