The rise of social media’s usage has seen cricketers using various platforms to engage with fellow cricketers. Twitter, for instance, remains a major social networking service and many episodes of players and fans engaging with each other has been witnessed.
Recently, best friends of Pakistan’s team, Shadab Khan and Hassan Ali were found teasing each other on Twitter. Interestingly, Hassan Ali plays for Peshawar Zalmi while Shadab Khan is a key member of Islamabad United. Responding to Islamabad’s slogan ‘Rang Jeet ka Laal hai’, Hassan showed his witty side by saying that yellow is better than red.
Shadab wasn’t going to let it go. Therefore, he reminded Hassan about United’s two titles by highlighting the fact that 2 is greater than 1. In response, Hassan seemed confident to win this year’s PSL and settle the equation, which was once again countered by Shadab.
Without a shadow of doubt, fans thoroughly loved this conversation between the two cricketers. Moreover, it swelled the charm of the 20-over competition which is set to hit Pakistan from February 20 with a game between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
