Ehsan Adil, the Pakistani fast-bowler, is one of those cricketers who never blossomed in the International cricket. This is evident from him averaging 52.60 in Tests and 55.75 in ODIs. However, his domestic performance is exactly opposite as Ehsan continues to be a top performer in this circuit.
Recently, he made his prowess known against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). With a spectacular bowling show, Ehsan came across as a really hard opponent for MCC as he unleashed his bag of tricks to bamboozle their batting department. The decision by Pakistan Shaheens to bowl first proved to be the stroke of genius as the 26-year old ran riot to decimate MCC by claiming 6 wickets while conceding only 34 runs in his quota of 10 overs.
With an iconic bowling performance, Ehsan allowed Shaheens to restrict MCC to a paltry total of 204 runs. In response, Shaheens looked in trouble at 114-5, but calm heads of Imran Rafiq and Hasan Mohsin allowed the unit to overcome the nerves and record a convincing victory. Without any surprises, Ehsan Adil flew away with player of the match award.
