Naseem Shah has risen through the ranks to become one of Pakistan’s most prized assets in the fast bowling department. The teenager, who missed last year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to an untimely injury, will now turn out for defending champions Quetta Gladiators in PSL 5.
Naseem will be partnering with another young feisty pacer – Mohammad Hasnain – for Quetta Gladiators, presenting a fierce challenge to oppositions in the upcoming tournament. Talking about the sensation pace bowling prospects, senior all-rounder Shane Watson has claimed facing Hasnain and Naseem in the nets will be intimidating for him.
"Last year facing Hasnain in the nets was not comfortable at all. This year having these two – Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain – will definitely make the nets worth avoiding throughout the next 5 weeks,” Watson remarked.
