Having the whole edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan has installed a different kind of vibe among the fans. As a result, everyone is sitting anxious for the commencement of the 6-team event which is to get underway from February 20 in Karachi.
The buzz has recently captured the attention of the English all-rounder Samit Patel who will be representing Lahore Qalandars this time. Previously, he served Islamabad United in PSL and recorded impressive shows. However, the two-time champions didn’t retain him in the squad.
Nevertheless, Samit is confident to embark a new journey with some special performances. He sits pumped up to play in front of a charged crowd in Gaddafi Stadium of Lahore. For this reason, he urged the residents of the iconic city to turn out in large numbers and back the unit.
A series of dismal outings ended up hurting the sentiments of Lahoris. However, they have always been a great host to all the competitive cricket and Samit is confident to lift their heart as he gears up for Lahore’s opening fixture against Multan Sultans on February 21.
