Becoming a proper brand of the cricketing world, Pakistan Super League (PSL) provides the cricket enthusiasts with a plethora of entertainment. However, it also gives an ideal platform for players to make their prowess known and make a case for the inclusion in the national team.
Recently, Pakistan’s paceman Wahab Riaz reflected on the forthcoming edition of Pakistan’s T20 extravaganza as he aims to use PSL for a national comeback. Responding to a question related to him getting dropped from the national team, the hostile bowler said that he has performed well in the last 2 years of T20 cricket which boosted his confidence to shine in PSL 2020.
In the last edition of the tournament, Wahab claimed 17 wickets in 13 games at 19.88. Moreover, an economy of 6.78 meant that he proved to be a valuable asset for Peshawar and he aims to do more of the same in the forthcoming season of the 6-team event. He will be backed by the aggression of Hassan Ali and the smartness of Rahat Ali to form a sturdy pace unit for the yellow team.
