With the forthcoming edition of the T20 World Cup not being far away, all the units are honing their skills. Moreover, the authorities are also assessing their available resources to take the finest bunch to the mega-event, scheduled to take place in Australia. Hosts, too, are shaping up nicely as their recent form in T20I cricket has been startling.
Recently, Australia’s head coach Justin Langer shared contentment with the preparations of his team. The 49-year old is of the view that the team is moving in the right direction. Highlighting the style of team and brand of cricket Kangaroos are playing, Langer said that his team is getting close to where he wants them to be. However, he added that there is always room for improvement as he urged his team to continue to do that.
“There are always a lot of opportunities when we take on the field, but we are getting close to the style of play and the team we want to play in the T20 World Cup,” said by Langer as he opened up about Australia’s preparations for the coveted 20-over event.
