Sri Lanka are all set to play their first ODI series since their 50-over assignment in Pakistan last year. They will be locking horns with the Kieron Pollard-led West Indies side in a three-match ODI series starting on Saturday, 22 February.
Several changes have been made to Sri Lanka’s squad, which lost to Pakistan 2-0 across the three ODIs in Karachi. Niroshan Dickwella has earned a surprise recall to the team after being left out of the white-ball setup for nearly a year. Dickwella was not part of Sri Lanka’s World Cup squad but has now been included in the side.
Meanwhile, veteran all-rounder Thisara Perera has also staged a comeback to the 15-member ODI squad. His last appearance in national colours came during the ODI series against Bangladesh at home following the conclusion of the World Cup in England and Wales.
