The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the first season of the glitzy T20 competition scheduled to take place entirely in Pakistan. The four venues chosen to host the historic occasion include Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan.
As the gradual resumption of top-flight cricket to Pakistan gains further traction, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has announced the board’s intentions to include more venues the next time around that the PSL will be held in Pakistan.
Mani has declared the PCB’s decision to also get the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar to host PSL encounters. "We are hoping to hold some Pakistan Super League matches in Peshawar next year,” Mani told reporters ahead of the commencement of PSL 5.
