While Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a major T20 festival celebrated throughout the country, it has been a horrible journey for Lahore Qalandars. Despite bringing a different charm and plethora of entertainment, the franchise has failed to produce favorable results. This is evident from the fact that they remained glued to the bottom of the table in all the four seasons of the 20-over event.
However, a new year brings in another chance for Lahore to embark a new journey and head coach Aaqib Javed is sanguine about Lahore turning the tables in PSL 2020. The 47-year old recently shared his views in the media session of Lahore ahead of the commencement of the 6-team competition.
Aaqib said that one cannot live in past and it is important for everyone to see the opportunities lying in front of them. Therefore, he believes that the meaningful thing right now is Lahore’s performances in PSL 5. Despite Lahore looking the weakest team on paper, Aaqib is confident that the unit would be able to produce the desired results.
