Curtly Ambrose excited for competitive cricket’s return to Pakistan

Apart from the arrival of many foreign stars, the charm of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL) was swelled with the presence of the former West Indian Paceman Curtly Ambrose. He, along with renowned Australian umpire Simon Taufel, made an appearance in the opening ceremony of the darling T20 tournament of Pakistan, which was well received by all the fans.

The legendary cricketer believes that it is an extremely delightful sight to see the passion of Pakistani fans getting fed by the resumption of competitive cricket. Ambrose has seen the empty stadiums of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) playing host to many PSL games. Therefore, this was an energetic and refreshing thing for him. Moreover, the 56-year old added that he is really happy to be in Pakistan.

On this occasion, Taufel, one of the most cherished umpires, also shared his excitement by saying that he returned to Pakistan after 11 good years and it excited him to the core. He also sees PSL as a bridge for a complete restoration of International cricket back to Pakistan.
