With the high quality Pakistan Super League (PSL) returning to the country, there is a different buzz running across Pakistan. The franchises are also excited as they want to take the flavor of home and away games. Unfortunately, not all the teams can have this advantage since only 4 stadiums are being used for the 6-team event. Therefore, Peshawar Zalmi won’t be able to play any contest in Peshawar.
Reviewing all this, owner of the franchise, Javed Afridi has recently expressed his wish to see Zalmi swelling the charm of the Arbab Niaz Stadium with their sparkling performances. Hence, the 34-year old requested the authorities to pay attention and speed up the pace of renovation in the iconic cricket stadium of Peshawar.
Javed Afridi believes that having all the teams playing at their home grounds would take the excitement of the 20-over competition to another level. On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is extremely confident about adding Arbab Niaz stadium in the mix for the next season of the T20 extravaganza of Pakistan.
