Two of the most closely contested teams of Pakistan Super League- Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi took on each other in the 4th match of Pakistan Super League. Batting first, Quetta posted a total of just 148 for the loss of 5 wickets despite a good start from Jason Roy and handy innings from the captain Sarfraz Ahmad.
Wahab Riaz was the pick of the bowler for Peshawar Zalmi as he picked up 2 wickets including the precious scalp of his famous counter-part Shane Watson and gave away just 21 runs. The emerging star Mohammad Amir Khan also picked up a wicket and gave away 24 runs in his 4 overs.
In reply, Zalmi lost Tom Banton early in the piece but the man of the show was Kamran Akmal, who once again proved the cricket world that he is the perfect man for the highest quality of cricket. Kamran scored yet another century of PSL career and his match-winning knock of 101 helped Peshawar to victory with 6 wickets in hands and 9 balls remaining.
