It is a well-known fact that wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal is a proven superstar of T20 cricket. Recently, the notion got strengthened with the Peshawar Zalmi batsman producing a magical innings to destroy Quetta Gladiators in Karachi.
On a true batting surface, Peshawar Zalmi was able to put forward a spectacular bowling performance to stop the firepower of Quetta. As a result, Gladiators managed to get only 148 runs, which was never going to be enough against Peshawar.
Quetta needed a magical bowling performance powered by a strong start. However, it was an opposite case as the wicket-keeper batsman Kamran looked in prime touch. Recording his prowess, the belligerent striker hammered Quetta’s pacers and spinners to all parts of the ground. Doing so, the domestic veteran mustered his 3rd PSL century, swelling his PSL fame to a different height as no other batsman has scored more than one ton in the 20-over tournament.
An elite batting performance saw Kamran smashing 13 fours and 4 sixes to score 101 runs consuming only 55 balls. Without any surprises, he flew away with the player of the match award.
