Exciting pace bowling sensation Mohammad Hasnain was at his supreme best as he tormented Karachi Kings’ batting lineup to restrict them to a low score. The right-arm speedster removed the dangerous Alex Hales cheaply to inflict a huge dent on the home side’s progress.
He then had a moment of athletic brilliance in the field when he nailed in a perfect yorker and rushed in his follow-through to dislodge the stumps and dismiss Chadwick Walton via a run-out. In the death overs, Hasnain consistently delivered the ball in the blockhole to stymie Karachi’s run-spree.
Hasnain was the star of the Gladiators’ victory in the opening game of the tournament and was at the forefront of his team’s bowling charge once again. He finished with figures of 3/33 in his four overs, ending up as the most prolific bowler from his side.
