In the last 2 years or so, Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal has performed miraculously well. Be it the red-ball matches or the white-ball cricket, the domestic stalwart was found giving his best. Even he is counted among the greats of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and this notion was recently strengthened by his magical century for Peshawar Zalmi in their encounter against Quetta Gladiators.
While, in past, the 38-year old frequently showed disappointment for not getting picked for the national team, he picked the mode of silence this time. Interacting with media, Kamran said that he has no problems with any selection committee as he believes that his job is to perform well.
Nevertheless, he calls for stability and consistency in selection process and urged the committee to prioritize the performers of ODI or four-day cricket. In addition to this, Kamran hoped to continue his glorious run in the forthcoming games for the yellow team as he wants to see Peshawar lifting the PSL 2020 title.
