Multan Sultans’ surprising pick Zeeshan Ashraf didn’t take much time to raise many eyebrows. In only his second Pakistan Super League (PSL) game, the hard-hitting batsman smashed a delightful half-century to make his prowess known to all. Against a strong bowling unit of Islamabad United, the left-hander smashed 4 fours and 3 sixes to get to his maiden PSL half-century.
Recently, Zeeshan Ashraf was found talking about his goals for the 20-over competition. He sees the aggressive wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal as his competition as he revealed his plan to overshadow him during Pakistan’s darling T20 festival.
Sharing his views, the 27-year old said that Kamran Akmal is an extremely good player, but he will try to record a better show than him in this year’s PSL. Doing so, Zeeshan wants to make a strong case for selection in the national team with T20 World Cup approaching. With Mohammad Rizwan not performing well in T20I cricket, the race is open for all the wicket-keeper batters.
