After fighting hard and losing the first 2 games of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars have reached Islamabad to play their next game against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi Stadium. For many overseas cricketers, this is their first trip to a city which isn’t called Lahore or Karachi.
Like other players, South African all-rounder David Wiese sits excited to play in front of the Rawalpindi crowd. Witnessing energetic turnout in Lahore excited him to the core and now he is hoping to see more of the same in Lahore’s fixture against Peshawar, which is to be played on February 28.
Moreover, Wiese said that he is looking forward to give his best shot against the yellow team to help Qalandars open their account on the points table. Till now, the green team is the only unit which is yet to register a victory in the 20-over competition. It remains to be seen how Qalandars fare in an important contest against Zalmi.
