Islamabad United middle-order batsman Colin Ingram unleashed coruscating strokeplay in his belligerent knock against Quetta Gladiators. Standing tall amidst the frequent loss of wickets, Ingram gelled his side together with a brilliant 40-ball stay at the crease.
The veteran left-handed batsman smashed six boundaries and two maximums in his elegant knock, piercing the gaps with surgical precision. He was involved in a handy partnership with Shadab Khan, making quick progress for the home side.
Eventually, Ingram’s efforts resulted in Islamabad being able to climb to a daunting total of 187/7 in their 20 overs. However, this proved to be insufficient in the face of a fireworks from Ben Cutting’s bat as Quetta marched to victory.
