Pakistan has staged a successful show against Sri Lanka and the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is witnessing all the overseas cricketers being satisfied with the security conditions of the country. However, all that hasn’t been able to convince Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim who is still not ready to visit Pakistan.
He wasn’t a part of the T20I as well as the Test team (for the first game) of Bangladesh and stressed that he has no plans to change his mind. His comments came after Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan showed a tough stance on the matter as he said that Mushfiqur is contract bound to go with the team.
The 32-year old added that BCB should respect his decision of not visiting Pakistan as he also didn’t place his name in the drafts of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Bangladesh is scheduled to come back to Pakistan for an ODI and a Test game in April and it remains to be seen how things go as far as Mushfiqur’s stance on travelling to Pakistan is concerned.
