Mohammad Azam, the wicket-keeper batsman of Quetta Gladiators, faced a lot of criticism without even getting much chance. However, he is leaving no stone unturned to silence his naysayers as he is recording an elite show in the ongoing edition of the highly valued Pakistan Super League (PSL).
On his Instagram story, the aggressive batsman shared a picture of many derogatory words which has been used in past to explain his selection. From body shaming to getting his selection linked to nepotism, Azam heard everything from the critics. However, he revealed that he used all the negativity to motivate him.
Without a shadow of doubt, this mantra of Azam seems to be working for him as the 21-year old has already mustered 120 runs in 4 games, producing useful knocks for his team. He is confident to continue his strong show in the 6-team event. Moreover, the skillful cricketer believes that Quetta has the arsenal to defend their title.
