Pakistan’s prolific leg-spinner Yasir Shah has made a comeback to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after going unsold in the draft held ahead of the fifth edition of the competition. He has been included in the Peshawar Zalmi squad as a replacement for the injured Mohammad Mohsin.
Young Mohsin sustained a split webbing while fielding during the clash against Lahore Qalandars and has been ruled out of the PSL action for a week. Mohsin was picked in the Silver category and Yasir enters into the side in the same category.
Yasir previously donned the Qalandars jersey in three seasons from 2017 to 2019. He has taken 23 wickets in the glitzy tournament at an average of 25.21. It remains to be seen whether Yasir would be preferred for selection in the Zalmi playing XI.
