Reviewing the shoddy show of Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), a constant sight is the coaching of former Pakistan paceman Aaqib Javed. Being with the franchise from 2016, he has failed to produce mentionable results as Lahore scaled new heights of mediocrity under his coaching.
From drafts to playing XI, he kept making questionable decisions. Not only that, he’s rarely found regretful for all the shame the franchise brought to the city. Even, the bad start of PSL 2020 hasn’t concerned him much as he didn’t share concrete plans to arrest Lahore’s downfall.
With all this happening, it is natural to see Qalandars fans getting frustrated with a consistently horrendous journey of the team. Therefore, few people gathered at the Liberty Roundabout to share their emotions. The fans lashed out at Aaqib Javed for all the miserable seasons, demanding the immediate exit of the 47-year old. Moreover, they urged the owners to revamp the management and go for proper professionals and technicians who are well aware about the game.
