The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has provided some enthralling clashes thus far. The first ever PSL competition to be held entirely in Pakistan, the ongoing tournament has lived up to its hype.
One aspect of the cricketing action that has garnered the praise of experts is the wonderful pitches set up by the groundsmen. In line with this notion, former Australia cricketer Michael Slater, who is also part of the PSL commentary panel, lauded the efforts of the groundstaff for arranging wonderful playing surfaces that will eventually help in honing the skills of young players.
"The surfaces in Pakistan are brilliant and have been consistent. We have surfaces, got some major cricket back in the country and we have the grounds that service the talent of the players. So it's fabulous the players can go out there and show us their skills," he stated.
