India captain Virat Kohli had a forgettable time during the recently concluded Test series in New Zealand, managing an abysmal sum of 38 runs in four innings. His failure on the bowler-friendly green pitches in New Zealand has caused many pundits to claim Kohli needs to make adjustments to his technique in order to succeed in tough conditions.
Amidst this backlash, legendary batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq has backed Kohli to overcome this slump in form. He emphasized that Kohli doesn’t need to make any changes to his batting technique and he should just ignore his critics.
"In India, there has been a lot of talk about Virat Kohli because he hasn't done too well in his last 11-12 innings. Some people are talking about his technique. I am shocked by all this talk,” the former Pakistan skipper said.
"My advice to Kohli is that there is no need to be worried. This happens to everyone. There is no business in the world that only sees profits, there are losses as well. He doesn't need to change his technique," Inzamam advised.
