Reviewing the previous four editions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), energetic crowd was a major factor missing from the 20-over tournament. While the Pakistan leg of the tournament saw people turning out in large numbers, but the lion’s share of the competition getting played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) kept bothering the authorities in this regard.
However, it has all been settled with the complete season of PSL getting featured in Pakistan. Be it Lahore, Karachi, Multan or Rawalpindi, fans have supported the teams by recording impressive numbers and this was recently lauded by Peshawar Zalmi batsman Shoaib Malik.
The veteran cricketer believes that such massive gatherings in stadiums are sending a positive message worldwide. He acknowledged the hurdles people go through to reach stadiums while extending his gratitude to them. Moreover, Malik revealed that the foreign cricketers too are having a great time playing in front of the jam-packed stadiums. It was great to see PSL 2020 creating a different kind of vibe in all the players because of getting immense support from the crowd.
