The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rescheduled the one-off ODI against Bangladesh in Karachi from April 3 to April 1. This decision has been taken following the request from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to grant its players extra time to prepare ahead of the second Test slated to begin on April 5.
Bangladesh’s three-phase tour of Pakistan featured them participating in a three-match T20I series in Lahore following after which they made a trip to Rawalpindi for the first Test of the two-match series. Now, the second Test will be played in Karachi alongside the one-off ODI that has experienced a shift in dates.
Bangladesh are yet to register a win in their inaugural World Test Championship campaign and they would be hoping a gap between the ODI and the red-ball match would give them more time to acclimatize to the conditions and put up a strong fight.
