Quetta Gladiators were overwhelmed by Lahore Qalandars in a lopsided contest on a square turner at the Gaddafi Stadium. Srafaraz Ahmed’s men were completely clueless as they were bamboozled by the vicious spin from the likes of Samit Patel and Farzan Raja.
Quetta’s abysmal performance now seen them lose four games in a row, marking it the first instance that the defending champions have crashed to four consecutive defeats in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Gladiators began their campaign strongly on a winning note but since then, their batting frailties have been exposed in a spectacular manner with their latest collapse seeing them lose six wickets in the Powerplay. The top-order comprising of Shane Watson, Jason Roy and Ahmed Shehzad has failed to fire regularly whereas skipper Sarfaraz is also desperately struggling for form.
